The association of Bowling boat owners and users was formed with the intent to liaise closely with British Waterways ( Scotland ), as a canal user group, with the purpose of raising any matters that are of concern to the user groups members, and as a means of keeping our boat owning membership informed of any future plans concerning Bowling basin, and the western end of the canal.

It is also the intention of the association to ensure the welfare, interests and concerns of its members and to organize events at Bowling basin.

Membership of the association is available to all boat owners and users of Bowling basin and the western end of the Forth and Clyde canal. Membership application forms are available from the secretary at Bowling basin, or can be downloaded from the website download page.
