Information on
this list comes from many sources and I thank all my ‘cousins’ for
opening their hearts and indeed their souls to me.
However, a very special thanks must go to my 3rd
cousin, Seán Eoghan Quinn, B.
A. (Hons), H. Dip. In Ed. M. Litt. Barrister-at-Law, who not only took
me back to the 1790’s to my oldest, now known forebear, but
also supplied other valuable information about ‘family’.
I think too that I should mention Martin McLaughlin, Cockhill
Road, Buncrana, County Donegal, Ireland, son of Eddie (Burns)
McLaughlin, who suggested in a conversation when I was on a visit
‘home’, that I should consider, creating a family tree and like an
idiot, I set out to see what I could find.
It has not been an unrewarding journey.
