History> How The Band Formed> The band met at different times, Tom and me were in Toot Hill School since year 7 and Jack came in the start of year 9. Ben arrived in September 2003 and is in my tutor set at school. Jack, tom and me were in Diablo when we performed at Back to School 2003 when I was the vocalist and Jack and Tom were on guitars. Then we had Steven Williamson on bass and Sam English on drums. Tom and Ben met in Geography and became friends after discovering they both have a liking for skateboarding and rock music. Tom then asked Ben if he wanted to start a band with Tom on guitar and Ben on drums. Ben and Tom both approached me about me being the bassist and I accepted although I was still learning. Sam English was then asked to play guitar but that all went to pot quite quickly, anyway, jack was then drafted in from Larger Than Average Hands to fill his former post as guitarist. LTAH were not best pleased with us stealing there guitarist but they soon got over it and got Tom Hubbard to fill Jacks shoes. Since then Jack has had many illnesses to contend with but has conquered them and is getting better. We practice at Bens chapel whenever possible and have written 1 complete song so far, Mirror Eyes, and are in the process of writing others. We are covering Sweet dreams by Marilyn Manson as a song to get us used to playing together. Ali. |
