Blues in F

How to use the chord chart to make a left hand part

/ F7    / Bb7    /F7     /F7     / Bb7   /Bb7   /F7    / D7   / Gm7    / C7     / F7 D7 / G7 C7/

The chord chart for F7 says F A C Eb, we need to place this chord around the middle C
area, play this chord with the Eb just above middle C , the next note down is middle C etc.

The next chord is Bb7, in the chord chart as Bb D F Ab, but we don’t want to jump to this
position, so make the top note D, a semitone lower than the Eb in the previous chord. The
rest of the notes reading down are Bb Ab and F.

For bar 3 and 4 we go back to the original F7 position, then Bb7 as before, then F7 again
as in bar 1.

The next chord , D7, could be played with D as its top note but I find a more comfortable
one to move down to C as top note in root position.

Then Gm7(G Bb D F) is best played with Bb as the top note.

C7 is next (C E G Bb) is root position, same top note as previous chord. Carry on like this,
all chords near middle C. Experiment and find comfortable positions.
