NB The Town Centre is
pedestrianised. Do not enter the shaded area by car or you will get stuck
Leaving the A1 south of Newark
Leave the A1 at the Newark exit. Travel north through Balderton along London Rd.
toward Newark. After about two miles you will reach a second set of traffic
lights, turn right here into Sherwood Avenue (see map). After the next traffic
lights (not the pelican crossing) slow down as you get to the park on your left.
Immediately after the park turn left into Bedehouse Lane. (The College is on the
corner). The college car park is 100 yards on your right.
From
A1 North of Newark: Leave the A1 at the Newark/Lincoln
exit. (this is not the first exit signed for Newark). Follow the signs to Newark
town centre. Turn left at the third set of traffic lights, into Queens Rd
(see map). Third right into Friary Road (this is the second mini
roundabout). Second right by the
College into Bedehouse lane. The college car park is 100 yards on your right

the A46 west of Newark: At the
roundabout take the road to the Town Centre (not the ring road). Proceed for
about 2 miles. Turn right at the lights. Left at the next lights.(by the old
hospital) into Sherwood Avenue (see map). After the next traffic lights (not the
pelican crossing) slow down as you get to the park on your left. Immediately
after the park turn left into Bedehouse Lane. (The College is on the corner).The
college car park is 100 yards on your right.
From
the A46 east of Newark: Follow the
signs to Newark town centre. Turn left at the third set of traffic lights, into
Queens Rd (see map). Third right
into Friary Road at mini roundabout. Second right by the College into Bedehouse
lane. The college car park is 100 yards on your right
From
A17 east of Newark. At the roundabout, take the exit
to Newark/Coddington. Follow the road for about 3 miles downhill to the town. At
the mini roundabout turn left into Friary Road. Second right by the College into Bedehouse lane. The college
car park is 100 yards on your right.
The Church is the large building almost
by the car park. The entrance is on Barnbygate.
If traveling
by bus or train, the venue is no more than 10 minutes walk.
