I sat and watched you tentative and still,

your movements were beautiful like a stalking tiger,

ready to kill.

I watched your body, stretching and twisting,

I knew your cares would all be diminishing.

I couldn’t understand the thrill you received

until I watched you climb the rock face

with grace and ease.

I'm sure the words I'm using undermine your agility,

I don't mean to make a mock of your ability.
