Flash game -- Totem Destroyer.
Totem Destroyer (surely that should be Totem Saver) is a
skill/puzzle game. Your task is to remove the specified
number of blocks, without allowing the totem (the gold
idol) to touch the floor, or fall from a great height.
The game has twentyfive levels of increasing difficulty.
Your progress through the game is saved and you can
return to any level you have unlocked.

There are three types
of blocks, normal, slippery and indestructible. Only the
first two types can be removed, by clicking on them.
The game is entertaining and moderately difficult, with
some levels requiring several attempts, a little puzzling,
some quick clicking and a dash of luck.
Note: You will need Flash enabled in
your browser and loading time is approx ten minutes on a
56K connection.

Flash game -- The Worlds Hardest Game.
The Worlds Hardest Game is quite a title to live up to.
But TWHG is certainly in the top ten for difficuly.
It is a very playable game and the thirty levels are
possible, they just require speed, timing, coordination
and sometimes some thought.

The object of the game
is simple, using the arrow keys, move the red block to
each green area, collecting any yellow dots and avoiding
the moving blue dots. The less times you die, the better
your score (which can be recorded online).
The difficulty, is that space between obstacles is often
very tight and your red block doesn't move very fast.
Your progress through the game isn't saved, so you would
need to complete the game in one sitting, which is a pain.
But apart from that, it's a playable, if very frustrating
game.

your browser and loading time is approx 3 minutes on a 56K
connection.

Flash game -- Blast-O-Matic.
Blast-O-Matic features ten power gauges of various
designs. You click with the mouse, to stop the active
gauge at peak power. After setting all ten gauges, you
then move to a second screen, where a cannon will blast a
projectile, using the power you have made available. The
further the projectile travels, the greater your score.

When I first tried this game I wasn't
very impressed, but I had another go, to see if I could
get a better score and then another go and another and
another.....
So the game certainly has something. It's really crying
out for online scoring, but in the meantime, see if you
can beat my awesome score of 129,675.

and loading time is less than a minute on a 56K

Flash game -- Sheep Pool.
In Sheep Pool you control Frisbee the dog with your mouse
and Frisbees task, is to get each of the sheep in a
pocket before the time runs out.
Just to make the game more difficult, the sheep are
numbered one to six, as are the pockets and each sheep
must go in the pocket of the same number. If that wasn't
difficult enough, the sheep must go in the pockets in the
order one, two, three,etc.

I found Sheep Pool fun, but also
very difficult and frustrating. The sheep move like real
sheep (ie, very stupidly) and if you don't keep an eye on
them, they have a tendency to fall down pockets in the
wrong order. They are also quite tricky to shepherd, with
individuals always trying to return to the flock.
Frisbee can move outside the table, which is useful to
get the flock off the sides, but he can fall in the
pockets, so be careful. To break up the flock and single
out one sheep, run Frisbee briskly through the group.
I haven't managed to "pot" all six sheep yet,
the best I've managed is five and I blame the dog...................

Online Flash game -- Shuffle.
Shuffle is a simple but addictive game, due
in no small part, to the excellent computer opponent.
The object of the game is to knock all of your opponents
balls off the board. At the start of the game you both
have a row of eight balls, but at the end of each round
the winning side starts the next round with one less ball.
A game is won, when one side wins four rounds, the winner
then starts the next game with one less ball.
The mouse is used to aim and set the power of each shot
and you must try to knock multiple balls out of play with
each shot, while keeping your balls on the board. The
game requires some thought and skill and a good starting
shot is essential.
I have managed to win three games in a row, but
eventually you end up facing seemingly impossible odds,
such as three balls against eight.

Online Flash game -- BoomShine.
BoomShine is a simple little game, but quite relaxing.
The playing area contains a number of balls, clicking (you
only get one click) on a ball causes it to expand for a
short time and any other balls that collide with an
expanded ball, expand themselves.

At the start of each level you are
given a goal, to expand a minimum number of balls, from
the total present, if you achieve this number, you move
on to the next level.
The game difficulty increases, by increasing the
proportion of balls you need to expand, I got as far 44
from 55.
BoomShine is a combination of skill and luck and with the
relaxing music and gentle gameplay, is a peaceful way to
spend ten minutes.
Loading time is approx five minutes on a 56k connection.

Flash game -- Double Ball.
Double Ball is a very simple game, you have two balls and
two bats, one bat moves to the left and right as you move
the mouse, the other tilts to the left or right. You must
use the small bat to keep the small ball in the air,
while ensuring that the large ball doesn't roll off the
large bat, drop either ball and the game is over.

Your time is shown at the bottom of
the screen and disparaging comments are made about your
intelligence, depending on how well you have done.
My best time is a shade over 28 seconds, but the first
few plays I was only on par with a poodle!
The default game language is French, for English click
the flag at the bottom left of the game window.
Estimated loading time, 20 seconds on a 56k dialup
connection.

Flash game -- Ball Trap.
Ball Trap is a very simple game, but quite addictive.
Your task, is to get all the blue balls, on the blue side
and all the red balls, on the red side. You do this, by
sliding a hole up and down the central barrier, using
your mouse.

The five levels get more difficult
as you progress, with the balls increasing in both
quantity and speed. The game takes a lot of concentration
and coordination, I have yet to complete level five, so I
can't tell you what happens at the end!

Flash
game -- Sheep Shoot.
In this little Flash game five of your sheep will make a
dash for freedom, you need to tranquillise them as
quickly as possible, but don't jump the gun, or there is
a three second penalty.
You are given a reaction rating, depending on the speed
of your reflexes, I was rated Bobbing Bobcat.
Loading time should be less than a minute on 56k dialup.

Flash game -- Drag the Dot.
In this sixteen level game, you must drag
the dot, using the mouse, to the exit block, avoiding
moving blocks and flaps along the way, colliding with any
object, will return you to the start.
Some blocks can be moved out of the way, using the arrows
at the bottom of the screen and there are portals, that
transport you to a different part of the screen.
After the sixteenth level you meet the boss!!!
Graphically the game is very simple, with a bit of a
nostalgic feel to it. The music is also very simple and
repetitive, but fortunately can be turned off, with the
"S" key.
An enjoyable little game, not especially difficult,
although I did struggle to get past the crushing blocks,
on the last level. It should keep you entertained for
fifteen minutes, or so.
