Ollie

"Dog Moorings"
"Ollie" was our border collie. We got him from a rescue centre in 1994 and was a faithful and loyal friend ever after. He is seen here waiting after we had visited a canal side shop.
"I like brown"
The towpath on the Cromford Canal got pretty muddy in places.
"Guard Dog"
When he was a young dog Ollie didn't care for canal holidays: he wanted to walk the entire length of the canal towpath (we didn't have a problem with that) and he wanted us to be with him all the time (and there's the problem).
"Mine, mine all mine"
When we got Ollie we were warned that Border Collies can be a bit possessive. We had to lock him in the car to finish the game.
"It's my ball"
By the time I got my hands on it it was very wet and well chewed, yuk!
"Big Nose"
This pose was achieved by holding a dog biscuit, well his eyes are telling you where.
"Takin' it easy"
No, it's my seat.
"Oh please"
If he had ever learned to open the dog biscuit packet himself.....
