If you are into watching original live indie/unsigned bands you must realise like I have that good entertaining bands are few and far between. 100Things however are in a
different league to all the usual copyist type bands. "No covers, No samples, No synths" adorn their flyers. They should put on the next batch; REAL ROCK 'N' ROLL! That's Indie/Punk Glam rock 'n' roll and not the 50's type.
The songs are all instantly likeable it's like watching a band playing your favourite
album. The lead singer means what he sings and what he sings is fantastic. There's no gazing at the floor with these guys, no bass player transfixed to his fingerboard, no egotistical guitarist playing a thousand notes every time a bridge comes around and the drummer is a complete master. In short if you appreciate live music played with a passion and conviction then go and watch 100Things as a band and also as individual musicians. If you've got half an hour to spare check the press for the next 100Things gig. Tell 'em I sent you!
