This is a 32 bit safe version of Andy Southgate's Stasis module, which was originally part of the GameSuite system. Andy made the source code available when he stopped writing RISC OS software, and my updated source is included in this archive. The reason I needed Stasis was for the rerelease of TANKS - I couldn't find any other sample player with a pitch slide facility.
Hopefully this will be of use to someone out there, get writing those games!
