* * Star Award

Loggers Leap is the Log Flume at Thorpe Park. It is part of the Canada Creek area of the park and is undoubtedly the main attraction of this particular area.

What makes this Log Flume stand out in the crowd is not only the fact that it has two good drops but also that the second of the two drops has a bump in the middle. This means that instead of going straight down the slope into the channel at the bottom there is a dip in the slope so you get the sensation of almost lifting out of the channel before splashing into the channel below. Not only that but the drop on which the bump occurs is also very high, almost as high as the 63ft of Nightmare Niagara.
