SCHOOL ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEET TO AGREE THE INCREASE OF THE CAPACITY TO 420 PUPILS

SHARC - Stockton Heath Alternative Residents Assoctiation receive letter from Mr Nick Gibb MP

Mr Gibb MP had asked for several responces to open questions about the new school buildings programme in October 2006. SHARC have received the answers.

WBC published the result of the SOC meeting of the 9th January 2007. They sadly agreed with the council to allow the school capacity to increase to 420!!

A NEW School Letter from Warrington Borough Council Development Control

sent out letter to all the people who have written into the council as regerds the planning informing them of the "Special Development Control Commitee" on Thursday 1st February 2007 at 7pm - Also letter attached from Mr John Groves "Head of Development Control" ref procedures on the night. Both Objectors to and Supporters of the New Build will have 30 Mins each. That is 10 people can speak for 3 minutes each!

2 Call in letters were sent to Government Office North West

The Action group write to the Governement Office North West requesting a call in of the application under article 14 direction

A second letter by Mr James Gibson is also sent in requesting a call in under article 14

The Victorian Society send WBC Letter in support of action group

The Victorian Society send WBC a letter and "Policy Statement" and infromation document in support of the Action Group. It transpires that on the 1st February only the covering letter is read out in the meeting and the all important Policy Statement which supports retention of school buildings, which may have had a bearing on the decision was not read out to the Councillors.

WBC SUPPORTING DOCUMENT SUBMITTED FOR DEVELOPMENT CONTROL MEETING IS NOT AS IT SEEMS!

THE "PAUL BUTLER ASSOCIATES REPORT" BREACHES INSTITUTE of HISTORIC BUILDING CONSERVATION – Code of Conduct!
Paul Butler, MA, MPhil, MRTPI, IHBC, IED Director of Paul Butler Associates has a number of projects under his belt with regards to Re-use of buildings and Heritage.
