Can you spot the difference?
Warrington Borough Council have made some changes to the original plans.
The proposed new PLANS have now had some "COST CUTTING" amendments
How will these changes improve the learning environment to make it a 21st Century Learning Environment? Or are they detrimental?
HERE ARE THE FLOOR PLANS FOR MARCH AND NOVEMBER 2006 - click on the picture to enlarge.

So how are the children going to cope in the summer months, now that the south facing side does not have the sun protectors and the fact that the passive roof vents have been removed?
No sign of the roof lagging to stop the noise from rainfall, the long corridors are narrower leading to closer contact, the classroom doors opposite each other instead of being staggered again making it a possible flash point.
In spite of concerns from parents and the community the Nursery play area is right next to the main road. Anyone can look in and watch the very young children from close quarters.
The proposed "New Building" is still a Sub-Standard box shaped
building and not a 21st Century Learning Environment!
