Returning for a third year, Hoxton Distillery presents The Poster
The Show 1,2,3...
As in previous years artists were emailed a poster (designed by
John Hanson and Richard Paul),
which featured their names as participators in a show of work, made
in response to the poster. The work submitted is as usual then shown
alongside the poster. This year the artists were also given a +2,
allowing them to invite a further two artists of their choice.
Responses to this year's poster range from the formation of a band
'Tin Les', 70,400 grey dots, a mouth-guard for artists, a floating
model of the house from Psycho with accompanying Willy Wonker chocolate
bars...to a green fly poster - now showing on a lampost near you.
