NIBS curated by Steve Claydon
TIM BACON, JASON BUCKLE, STEVE CLAYDON, SIMON LING & EDWARD UNDERWOOD

Friday 23 MAY - Sunday 15 Jun 2003

Hoxton Distillery welcomed maverick artist/musician Steve Claydon's felt-tip group show:
NIBS...

NIBS congregates a doctors waiting room of loosely related ailments:
pen drawn, colour woven, compulsive felt tip, tight lip tracings and fever driven colour webs; all painfully revealed and accreted. Hypochondriac interpretations of process and execution. These pieces are latex sealed and sellotaped shut.
A catalogue of vivid infections that at once communicate imminent catastrophe and benign detachment.
NIBS is a handsome rash symptomatic of an unrevealed motive.
Munchausens by proxy.
