To develop the 'nesting' concept, 'Body Bags' were created from crocheted 3 ply sisal twine specifically for the end of second year exhibition entitled, 'About time......2121.' The finished objects uncannily resembled the human form - thus their title. With no way to enter or exit these objects they simultaneously demonstrate the possibility of protection and vulnerability. Their rough texture simulates the sensation of the neurological symptom, 'pins and needles.'
