Calling all Auf Wiedersehen Pet fans!
Following a visit to Beesthorpe Hall (Thornely Manor in Series 2) the owner, Mrs. Matthews, told me a story about when the production crew were assembling the fake tower to make Thornely Manor appear more Victorian. As the crew were lifting the tower into place, they damaged the gable end of the roof and she hasn't been able to afford to have the damage repaired, even after all these years.
25 years later, and with the roof of the hall still damaged, Mrs. Matthews was hoping to invite fans of the show up to her home and give the fans a chance to visit "Thornely Manor" to a specially arranged Auf Wiedersehen Pet themed evening. Guests would be invited to make a donation and the proceeds from the evening would go towards help paying for the renovation work. Mrs. Matthews thought that only a few people would be interested in visiting, but can you prove her wrong?
The date would be some way off as there would be a lot of planning involved, but I offered to gauge interest and then report back to her with projected numbers of fans who would like to attend. I'm sure we can count on you guys for your support.

Happy new year! The Rest in Peace and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet pages have had new images added, the video of The Actors' performance of Long Legged Blue Eyed Blonde has been added to the HMK page, you can catch Holton/Steel's version of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" here and you can also watch an interview with Gary here.

25 October marks the 24th anniversary of Gary leaving us to go to the Marquee Club in the sky. Thirty new images of Gary on stage have been added to the Gallery page to mark the occasion .
