Simplicity Wedding Photography

- Digital wizardry and other things -

Black and white photos with colour highlights are very popular. I enjoy doing them, so they are very reasonably priced! (Morley Hayes)

I don't charge extra for the smiles! (Mansfield Registry Office)

A lot of couples like abstract photos

Others like a few fun shots (Newstead Abbey)

Caught you! (Newstead Abbey)

I've always got my eye open for something different.

This one is actually a composite of 3 different photographs. The couple were cut out of a photo where they were kissing under a tree. The church was taken from another photo. The confetti was cut out of a third picture and blurred to make it look as if it was moving quickly by. (St John's Church Mansfield)

A bedroom window shot at the Renaissance Hotel, South Normanton

A title page from one of my albums (Santo's, Higham Farm)

The bride's mum looks a bit lonely, but the overall effect is really dramatic!

A composite picture for one of my panoramic picture-book style albums. This is a complete 2-page spread. The fireworks and the romantic couple were added to a night shot of the venue to make a really spectacular image. Apparently, the picture is so convincing that some people really thought there had been a fireworks display - and they had missed it! (Van Dyk, Clowne)

Sepia with the colour highlights makes a vibrant and interesting change from black & white or full colour (Priest House, Castle Donington)

For a full appreciation of the quality of my work, I would be delighted to show you my albums.
