Frustrated with an issue that you think needs dealing with? Found yourself getting angry or concerned about something that desperately need attention? Then look no further.

In the first instance you need to focus on what it is that is concerning you. Often by jotting down a couple of sentences explaining to yourself what is making you hot under the collar will help you focus better.

Then look at what tyou have written and then leave it on the side for a few minutes whilst you go off and make a cup of tea. With your cup of tea in hand re-read what you have written. Are you still convinced YOU have a valid point that needs dealing with?

If so then you need to contact your local Councillor. Even if the issue has nothing to do with Tamworth Council then YOUR Ward Councillor will be able to advise you where to seek support from.

Tamworth has some fantastic councillors. Finding out which ones are the good ones is a different matter. But if you find a good one then use them. It's their job!

How do I find and contact my local Councillor?

Every Ward in Tamworth should have three Councillors elected to serve the needs of its residents. To find out who covers your area then you have two choices. Either phone Tamworth Council on 01827 709709 or click here to visit the 'find your councillor' section on the council website.

Once you have found out who your three councillors are then you need to get in touch with them. You can either telephone them, write to them or email them. All councillors are offered a council laptop/PC and braodband connection so a quick email is probably the best form of contact.

The sit back and wait a few days. Give them a week to acknowledge your concern.
