 Service & Maintenance Contracts

At DCS Security Solutions, we pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide. This includes the Service & Maintenance of Intruder Alarms, Close Circuit Television Systems (CCTV), Fire Systems and Door Entry / Access Systems.Our customers have 'peace of mind' should their security system fail with the Service & Maintenance Contractual Agreement which is renewed annually. This entitles our customers to one visit during the yearly contractual period ( twice for commercial customers with police response ), whereby their security system covered, is thoroughly checked for performance, and maintained if required.Should our customers require work to be carried out i.e upgrades or system modifications due to environmental changes, they benefit from reduced labour costs too.Also covered in our Contractual Agreement is our 24/7 'out of hours service'.

 1) Annual Visits

Every Customer who signs up for our Service & Maintenance Contract will receive one free visit to check their security system.During the visit, this is what we do:
a] Check the system against the specification. If there is no specification (details of the system), a specification is produced.
b] Perform system voltage and current checks to ensure good electrical functionality
c] Check all mechanical / electrical connections including fuses
d] Inspect flexible connections
e] Check all detectors are correctly functioning with good coverage
f] Test control panel standby battery and exterior bell unit backup battery
g] Rectify any problems found and fill in the site log book


 2) Reduced Maintenance costs

Customers are entitled to 10% off the price of any work required on their system compared with non contractual customers. The maintenance includes:
a] System upgrades due to failure or DD243 compliance
b] Additional detection added to existing systems
c] Replacing faulty equipment
d] Relocating existing equipment due to environmental changes


 3) Out Of Hours Service

Peace of mind should a fault occur on a system out of normal working hours, such as an exterior bell sounding under no control to the customer.Out of hours service is only available to customers with a DCS Security Solutions Service & Maintenance Contract.
Some older alarm systems that haven't been serviced for some years, may cause problems with the occurance of a mains powercut and a faulty standby battery, resulting in loss of memory backup configeration, and no control over the alarm system.With no Service & Maintenance Contract cover, the customer is left with difficulty.Standard domestic customers can sign up for a DCS Security Solutions Service & Maintenance Contract for only £50 per annum.Get peace of mind and sign up here.
