Richard Moss's Land's End - John O'Groats Home Page

land's end

These pages are the record of my 956 mile bike ride from the south-west tip of England to the north-east tip of Scotland in the Summer of 2004. There are a few pages about the preparation for the trip, the diary, day by day pages with a few of the 170 photos I took (when the weather was good enough), a summary of the stats, and some afterthoughts.

I did the ride on my own, mainly, I think, because (a) I wouldn't then have to worry about anybody else's whims; I could suit myself entirely, and (b) if I messed up, it would only be me in a mess. But throughout the preparation and the ride, I had huge support from Katie and all my family and friends, without whose help this would have been quite a different story.
