After leaving Uni I needed a new axe - the Kelly was getting tired and I wanted something a little more portable for when I travelled. I looked around and one guitar kept catching my eye - this Ibanez. Not sure if it was the small body or the colour - a kind of flat metallic purple. In then end I went and tried it and loved it. So much tone difference from its two humbuckers. I traded in the Kelly and took it home the same day. I have to recommend the Ibanez case for the fit and build quality too. I now use this as my general jamming guitar, keeping my new Kelly upstairs out of harm's way. The flat metallic has shined up a little where my hand brushes it under the bridge but other than that it is holding out very well.
