The "Bigger Picture"

Prayer Diary

 
Roger qualified as an Accountant before going to the Bible Training Institute (now International Christian College) in Glasgow for 2 years. Worked for 3 years in the Scripture Union Scotland in the Accounts Department before joining Open Air Campaigners in 1984.
Rosemary, my wife, comes from Northern Ireland.   We met at the Bible College, we've been married for almost 28 years, and have no children.  She assists me in the ministry, particularly in school assemblies. As an Assistant Evangelist with OAC, she specialises in children’s Ministry and Training which involves work overseas and in Scotland.  She is Branch Secretary for OAC Scotland.  

Our Vision  …  Reaching the  lost

  • We have a vision to see open airs in all the larger towns 
  • We need more opportunities to train workers
  • We need to see more Christians getting out and sharing Christ in public

Home Church  

We are members of  Findlay Memorial Church a city based church in Glasgow and are involved in leading a Small Group and doing hospitality. Rosemary adds community work (working in connection with the Maryhill Integration Network), pastoral care and Child Protection  to her OAC deputation schedule. 

Hobbies and Interests

Roger enjoys cycling and  tennis.  He is a member of the Scotstoun Leisure Centre and plays regularly.  Rosemary enjoys cooking, crafting and computers.  We both enjoy walking  and reading - especially on our day off!  We completed the West Highland Way in April 2003 (100 miles in 5 days!) and in April 2007 did a bit of the Great Glen Walk in Inverness.
