SOUND HEALING TRAINING CURRICULUM

Dates:-     Part One - An Introduction to Sound Healing - 31st May/1st June 2008

Part Two - The Theory and Practice of Sound Healing - 20th/21st September 2008

Part Three - Music as Medicine -  17th/18th January 2009

Part Four - Sound Healing through the Chakras -  28th/29th March 2009

The cost of each module is £150 and on completion of the 4th Module you will be awarded a certificate of completion from the College of Sound Healing. Please contact us for a booking form - A £50 deposit will be required to secure a place on the course.

The core curriculum of the Sound Healer Training comprises four weekend workshops taken over one year. The four parts of the course should be taken in order.

If you have previous experience with sound healing or voice work it is possible to join the Sound Healing Training at Part Two of the course.

After completing the Core Curriculum students will need to complete two Additional Modules in the next year.

 CORE CURRICULUM

1. An Introduction to Sound Healing

3. Music as Medicine

4. Sound Healing through the Chakra's

COURSE INFORMATION

PREREQUISITES

It is helpful if participants have already studied some form of healing before attending this course. For example: - music therapy, counselling, massage therapy, chiropractor, Reiki healer, yoga teacher etc.

ASSESSMENT

There will be a practical evaluation in which the participants will have to give a supervised sound healing treatment to another student. Written work will be given at the end of each weekend. Thirty case studies will need to be written up to complete the course.

CERTIFICATE

At the end of the course if participants have satisfactorily completed the case studies, written work and sound healing evaluation they will be presented with a certificate of competence by the College. Completion of the course entitles you to become a Member of the College of Sound Healing (MCSH).

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the College of Sound Healing costs £25 per year. Student Membership costs £10 per year.

REVIEW DAYS

After they have qualified College members are expected to attend at least one Sound Healing Review Day each year to share their experience, improve their skills and learn new sound healing techniques.

COST

£150 per weekend workshop.

QI GONG/YOGA

Most workshops will begin with some gentle Qi Gong or Yoga exercises. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket and a pillow with you.

INSURANCE

Insurance cover is available on completing the training at around £75 per annum (if you have completed a basic course in anatomy and physiology). Therapists who already have insurance cover may be able to add sound healing to their existing policy at no extra charge. (A list of insurers will be provided).
