The core curriculum of the Sound Healer Training comprises five weekend workshops taken over one year. The five parts of the course should be taken in order.

 

If you have previous experience with sound healing or voice work it is possible to join the Sound Healing Training at Part Two of the course.

BREATH

HARMONICS
Understanding harmonics and their role in healing

Learn sacred chants from different spiritual traditions

 

CHAKRAS
Balancing the chakras with vowel sounds

 5.Graduation Weekend

 

Sound Healing with Colour, Distant Sound Healing, Using percussive sound over the body, Bija mantra alternative Chakra healing, Releasing pain from the body.  Revise aspects of course where required.

Graduation - Presentation of Certificate from tutors

  


 

COURSE INFORMATION

 

PREREQUISITES

It is helpful if participants have already studied some form of healing  before attending this course.  For example music therapy, reiki, yoga, counselling, massage therapy, chiropractor etc.

COSTS

The cost of each module is £165 for which a £50 deposit is required with the balance being paid at the start of each module, this includes a copy of the book 'Sound Healing Practice'. The total cost of the course is £825 for five weekends of basic training.  The cost of additional workshops will vary depending on which workshops are taken. 

Students will need to join the college as a student member (cost £20) and have insurance cover whilst they are training.  Students will also need to buy a set of 'Body Tuner' tuning forks (£39 plus £2.50 postage)

INSURANCE

The College has a Block  Insurance Scheme.  The premiums are £32.50 for Student Members and £46.50 for Graduates in the UK.  Practitioners who already have insurance may be able to add Sound Healing to their existing policy at no extra charge.

BURSARIES

The College provides bursaries for students on low income, but these are limited

CPD

After they have qualified College members are expected to do a minimum of 16 hours a year Continuing Professional Development.

CERTIFICATE

At the end of the course, if participants have satisfactorily completed the practice treatments, written work and sound healing evaluation, they will be presented with a certificate of competence by the College.

 
 QI GONG/YOGA

 

Most workshops will begin with some gentle Qi Gong or Yoga exercises. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket and a pillow with you.
