Who am I?

My name is Colin Powell

I live in Eccles, Manchester, UK, and practice in the Greater Manchester area.

I have been teaching Reiki since 1998 and believe that Reiki should be kept simple and as true to the way it was taught in Japan as possible. Hence ‘Reiki: pure and simple’. I have also attended many Mind Body Spirit exhibitions (including the one at G-MEX, Manchester, where I appeared on national TV on 'The Heaven and Earth Show'!) and community events, where I have given Reiki ‘taster’ sessions to hundreds of people.

I also hold a monthly Reiki share for Reiki practitioners and interested non-attuned people and would be happy to speak to groups of people about Reiki.

I am insured through, and a Master Teacher Member of, the UK Reiki Federation. I have reached Teacher Level in Usui Reiki Ryoho, Gendai Reiki Ho and Komyo Reiki Ho (which include traditional Japanese techniques not often taught in the West). I am also currently studying Jikiden Reiki with Tadao Yamaguchi, whose mother was taught by Dr Chujiro Hayashi.
