When you have read this, click the 'Display' button.
You should see the initial image within a few seconds.
You may get a pop up message from windows telling you that the script on the page is causing Explorer to run slowly. Click 'NO' to continue processing.
I run this on a 2.1 GigaHertz machine.
When the image appears you can adjust any of the form elements and click 'Display' to redraw the image.
You can also click on the image to re-center or zoom in to it.
If you increase the Maximum Iterations, or increase the Resolution, the image will take longer to process. At High resolution and for example a maximum iteration depth of 5000, it could take quite a few minutes. Please be patient.
Zoom Factor:
When you click on the image the Zoom factor 'On Image Click' will be used. If you want to Zoom in use a number greater than 1. if you want to zoom out use a fraction. eg 0.5 will zoom out. if you just want to re-center the image set the factor to 1 and click the image area that needs re-centering.
The zoom factor value 'On Zoom Button' will simply zoom in when you click the Zoom Button. This can be set as above for zooming in or out.
Color set
A Color set can be selected by entering a number or changing the number using the buttons. Every set is generated 'on the fly' using the number as a seed for a random number generator.
The color sets 1 to 200 are all greys. The following sets are all colours.
The color sets 100 to 600 all have matching end colors for smoother transition (the color cycles round).
