A Short Biography of the Worlds Leading Conspiracy Theorist

David Icke was born 29 April 1952 to working class parents who lived on a council estate in Leicester, England.

In September 1969 David left school to play football for Coventry City and was later transfered to Hereford United in August 1971, playing as a goalkeeper until he was forced to retire at the age of 21 due to arthritis.

David then found employment with a local newspaper in Leicester becoming a reporter, moving on to local radio, regional television, and eventually national television with the BBC as a News and Sports presenter.

He later left the BBC to become an activist for the Green Party, due to his strong views on the enviroment, rising swiftly to the position of national media spokesperson. David Icke left the Green Party in 1991, he said later that the reason he left was that their political agenda was different in private to how the public are made to see it and that the Greens are no better than the others.

He now lives in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
