We'll be meeting in the George Abbot Pub in Guildford (at the foot of the high street, by the river) at 7.30pm for drinks and the pub quiz kicks off at 8.45pm. If we can get ten people to attend then the pub will put on a free buffet for us. The quiz costs £1 per person and lasts until approximately 10.30 from past experience. Come along for a drink at 7.45pm, and the quiz will kick off at 8.45pm. If ten people can attend, we will organise a free buffet. You may wish to set off a few minutes earlier than usual if driving, as you sometimes have to drive around the car park (directly in front of the pub) a few times to get a space. If we can get the 10 people together to book a complimentary a buffet, the pub will serve us with nachos, fries, sticky sausages, seasoned potato wedges, a selection of sandwiches and pizza slices FOR FREE!
If you're an Open University student and want to come to the buffet and pub quiz, then please do just that!
