NEW ALBUM, NEW BAND... SO MUCH TO TELL! - June 2008

So much news to catch up on! Firstly, we're very pleased and excited to announce the imminent release of Andy's third album "Moon Enough To See". With the title track inspired by a line in the book "Casting at the Sun" by Christopher Yates, the new release is a definite step up from Andy’s previous albums (which both had a more mellow, folky vibe). The layered acoustic guitars, piano and harmonica are now beefed up with hammond organs, slide / electric guitars, drums and bass. The result is lots of energy whilst remaining soulful and heartfelt. If you’re a fan of the old material, don’t fear! The old poetic lyrics and enchanting compositions are still very much evident, along with a couple of acoustic / ambient tracks for good measure.
The album launch party (Saturday 26th July 2008 - see 'Live' page for details) will also debut the new band: Jamie (Jay) Leivers on guitar and Steve Farmer on drums, in addition to ever-present Rebecca (Bead) Dawson on bass. The talents of Jay and Steve are both totally off the scale, and we're very proud to have these awesome musicians on board.

If you're in the area, it would be great to see you at the album launch party in Nottingham on 26th July!

DEBUT ALBUM "OLD FASHIONED DREAM" RECORDED - November 2005

After the success of Andy's first recording 'This is Only the Start' (a roughly made demo album which sold several hundred copies at live events and online), the new album is set to be Andy's debut proper. A massive thanks to the following people for their talents and input over the last few months -- Ed and Tom Bounford for Violin and Cello, done in one night straight off the cuff, and sounding great - plus two of the nicest guys I have ever met. Ste Lakeland for his fantastic drumming, plus his support and creative input. Geoff Morris for his awesome Banjo playing. Neil Kellow for lead guitar and all the late nights mixing and mastering (and drinking tea). Rebecca Dawson for Bass, production, and generally doing everything, and being a total rock. Andy Reeve of Aardvark Music Ltd for his support.
