We discuss all aspects of
Science Fiction, Sci Fi & SF
(and yes, Virginia, some people do consider them to be different
- it's a discussion all in itself)as
well as Fantasy & Horror;
Film & Television; Comics &
Books; RPG (Role Playing Games); New Media - in fact
anything that will fit under the fantastical umbrella.
The NSFG
meetings usually have a 'Theme' and in addition to the
discussions we often participate in a variety of activities such as Workshops, Games
& Quizzes and even the occassional Book Group or Special Guest .
Group
Group is defined* as:
(noun) 1. a number of persons or things considered as a collective unit
2. a. a number of persons bound together by common social standards, interests etc. b. (as modifier): group behaviour
3: Maths. a set under an operation involving any two members of the set such that the set is closed, associative, and contains both an identity and the inverse of each member.
