| Both of our families are from the ancient town of Richmond in the North of England, Ray was born there and we often return for the town has many memories and currently Ray is shooting pictures there for Images of England 2000.
Ray is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, holds the Diploma of Architecture of Leeds and enjoys 'shooting' buildings. He is an Honorary Member and a Fellow of the Photographic Society of America , an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, an 'A' of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and Honorary Member of the Indian International Photographic Council. He is also an Honorary Member of the Lebanon Pa Camera Club, Honorary Member and Founder Chairman of the Third Dimension Society, and Honorary Member of the Stockton on Tees Photo Colour Society. He holds the Service Medal of the PSA and is both a Country Representative and the UK Travel Aid. In the Exhibition Field he has about 150 acceptances and is a modest 2 star stereo exhibitor.
Our current interests cover a wide range including a large garden, wine making, country walking etc., but photographically we enjoy making audio/visuals, travelogues and digitally imaged pictures, mainly of normal pictures adjusted but occasionally more adventurous. Over ARay enjoys writing, especially sharing accumulated knowledge and pictures and was recently honoured by PSA with the Keaton Award for Writing, he holds four bronze and two silver stars for his articles and was awarded two silver bowls/trays as Editor of two club bulletins. He was recently awarded a Gold Medal for his travelogue on Cathedrals and Churches. Dorothy continues to make dolls for the Poland Aid Scheme and has a principal role of checker of scripts etc and often as 'voice over' and Marital Managing Director i/c Support Team.
Our international band of friends is a large part of our life and membership of the Tees Digital Photo Group is important to us.
