New Official Naturist Beach.

Our nearest beach resort, Zambujeira do Mar has for many years had a naturist "tolerated" beach, Praia dos Alteirinhos, in a bay just south of the main town beach.

Now, after several years of discussions between Odemira Municipal Council and the Federação Portuguesa de Naturismo (FPN),  approval for Portugal's 6th official naturist beach was granted on 21st April 2008.
