Naturist news from the Alentejo, Portugal, February 2008.

Brrr It’s Cold.

Our eldest daughter, Sam, was recently asked to appear in an internet video for Green Thing, a not-for-profit organisation focussed on combating climate change. Shortly before filming the director asked Sam if she could help him find some more females who were willing to appear naked in the commercial, so she asked Marnie to join her in the deepest Antarctic, where they spent many months making this powerful and moving wildlife documentary. Well that is what the film credits say.

Watch the video at http://www.dothegreenthing.com/green_actions/use_body_warmth/video. Yes that is real snow. The only protection from the cold that the actors had, was slippers on their feet. Although the film crew were on hand to take the cast’s coats at “Action” and pass them back at “Cut”. The temperatures on the set fell below zero, a far cry from the +55º C, which we experienced at Naturest in mid July last year.
