The guest house is a recently restored 19^th century traditional Alentejano monte offering attractive and comfortable single and double rooms, all with modern en- suite shower rooms.

The house commands views over the surrounding countryside as well as its own private grounds of more than1 hectare (2½ acres) with plenty of sun or shade all day amongst the olive grove, cork, eucalyptus and various fruit trees.

You can relax on the veranda or the terracotta tiled terrace or venture down to further sunbathing terraces and the 9m (30ft) swimming pool.

Feel like some exercise? Why not play a few ends on our boules court or take a stroll around the grounds. For the more energetic, the surrounding countryside offers some challenging hill walks - with so few people around you can even ramble in the nude - but we advise you to take a sarong or shorts, just in case.

If you just want to exercise the mind, then there is a selection of board games and books available in the lounge. Or, why not buy one from Amazon to bring with you. Sorry - we have no television, but we do have a collection of naturist art displayed around the house for you to admire.

We offer bed with continental breakfast. Hot and cold drinks - at reasonable prices - are served throughout the day. Fresh drinking water is freely available at all times.

 We also serve light lunches and evening meals - perhaps a barbecue or a pizza cooked in our traditional outdoor bread oven.
