John Read at the
1999 Isle of Man TT races, John used his R1 for both the Formula One
and Production TT. For the Formula One TT the bike was standard but
with slick tyres fitted, for the Production TT John added a Micron pipe
and Dynojet kit and reverted to standard tyres. John did a 110.6 mph
lap and recieved a Bronze replica.
