The Saude was a 325gt Norwegian coastal steamer built in Stavanger in 1897. She measured 40x6x3 metres. She collided with a German submarine U1052 in November 1944 and sank rapidly without loss casualties.
The wreck is upside down but reasonably intact in 30-40m, apart from the collision damage at the bows. The tide can be quite strong over the site, so slack water is recommended. The wreck can be dived from the shore.
