Leeds

In our first 'Unofficial' Jamboree Reunion we travelled by train to Leeds city centre.  There we enjoyed an afternoon of shopping and then ice skating.

 

Shopping

Hmmm.... a man of questionable pastimes... shopping in the womens section of T K Maxx can draw some rather strange looks!

  

The pressure of remaining calm whilst remembering that we still have to go ice skating starts to take its toll

 

 I can't blame you for claiming to not be with the guy above!

 

Ice Skating

 

Luckily  we'd pre booked places which meant that we were able to pass hundreds of the queuing public and still receive discount (in true boy scout fashion).  Although the Leeds ice rink proved to be highly dangerous it was good fun.  After two hours ice skating we enjoyed ice creams and refreshments by the side.

^ Check out the smug look.... little does she realise that she has inadvertently paid for his drink!  (P.S. check out the t-shirt, oh yes!)

^ One of two things can explain the looks on their faces... Either the coffee is going to their heads or they're plotting something evil (Probably the latter!)

Thought for the day
Whilst attempting to look intelligent, it may be good advice for this individual to hold the book the right way up?  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All in all, the visit to Leeds proved an excellent day out
