Forest Farm Barbecue & Barn Dance 2008

Pictures from the 2008 eveny can be seen by following this link...

This year's event was held on Saturday 5th July 2008. This is our annual major fundraising and fun event and is hoped to be bigger and better than last year's event

Last year it was held in July with the threat of bad weather. This prompted us to re-arrange much of the seating and cover. Though as usual, it will was at Forest Farm, Mount Road, Marsden. Music was provided by the host's band - The Fusspots supported by guest performers to dance to, including African Zulus. so we had an international evening.

This evening raised £1500 for the Team. The evening was a mix of great food, great music and a great night out which will included a bar and raffle. All funds raised go to the Holme Valley Team. Below are some photos from the night...

Shannon Matthews.... found alive and well!

Shannon - missing
The Holme Valley Team has been involved in the search for missing 9 year old Shannon Matthews from Dewsbury West Yorkshire.

During the first week of the investigation the Team was called out by West Yorkshire Police to search open areas of grounds in and around Dewsbury Moor as well as near-by industrial estates.

This is exactly what the Team is trained to do and makes up most of our work. This is what your donations cover the costs of.

If you have any information to assist in the Police's enquiries into the disappaerance of Shannon please call West Yorkshire Police on 0845 6060606 or Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111. Thanks you.
