Enfield Outdrive 130H swivel mount
Removing the outdrive from the transom
First get the boat out of the water or it will sink. ( LOL. )
Firstly I removed the gear linkage cable from the gear linkage on the leg (this of course caused its own problems, gear lever is aluminium and easily broken.) I ended up making a new gear leaver once removed feed the cable back through the hole in the transom so that it is out of the way.

This is working on a Perkins 4108 motor
Next inside the boat disconnect the flexible coupling there are a few different types but all basically the same remove the two bolts on the engine side then remove the two bolts on the outdrive side the reason I did it this way was to give me room to pull the coupling forward ie: towards the front of the boat. Once this was removed I then disconnected the locking pin lever which was connected to the main stay bolts on the leg, this removed and out of the wayI then removed the eight 17mm nuts and bolts holding the leg to the transom once removed you can start to leaver the leg away from the strengthening plate ( I have one on my boat I do not know if all cleo’s have them )be very careful doing this as the gasket can be damaged also this is a two man job, ( don’t be a hero things can break ) when you have removed the leg your job is complete except for the strengthening plate if you have one this is held on by two 17mm nuts and bolts remove the bolts and prize away the plate. You should see the Plate is covered in sickaflex now the job is done
