This is an extremely popular style, the classic swash-buckling shirt, perfect for swinging from the rigging. Or anything else that you want to do. They are what is known as "four-yard" shirts, for the obvious reason that the body is a yard long front and back, and the sleeves are also made of a full yard of material each! This gives the fullest, most generously cut shirt. To avoid bulkiness, I choose the finest possible material: a lovely white cotton lawn, which is so fine that you can almost see through it. Also available in Black.
These shirts have a shoulder yoke for comfort, for a good fit, and for lots of style:
a large collar with a hand-finished, classic, criss-cross lacing: and long and very baggy sleeves gathered into a buttoned
cuff.
