Here are some instructions and photos which might help, if you have not used charcloth before. Just click on the relevant title on the left. I've tried to keep them short, but scrolling will be necessary!
Firstly ensure you have permission to light a fire, then prepare the ground, and collect your materials.
Feathersticks are - purely in my opinion - the best and easiest way to use charcloth to start a fire safely.
