I have a small business that makes  period shirts    and which diversifies, during the summer months, into Charcloth production.

I started selling it a couple of years ago, in response to demand from people who, after watching some of Ray Mears' programmes on BBC tv, wanted to start fires without matches, but who were having problems making their own charcloth: and I have to say, it's not as easy as it looks!

Having taken some time to perfect the recipe, I now produce small batches of top quality, consistent, charcloth that is a pleasure to use: it is made from 100% cotton material, and is packed in a resealable grip-top bag.
