Welcome to my individual record of the restoration of the Wilts & Berks Canal, in and around the Wantage area. It is known to me and my friends as "Canal Club", and is populated by us, the WilBerks. Hmm, maybe not the best of names...... anyway, the opinions and comments expressed herein are entirely mine, as are any factual mistakes!

I have included a little bit of the history of the canal; then an unexpurgated photographic record of some of our workparties, which may give you an insight into what we do, and will hopefully make you smile as well: then there are some Frequently Asked Questions which might provide some useful information, and then a few Links to proper Wilts & Berks websites, in case you want to see the formal side of the society.

I have added two new features: Gallery, with portraits of some of my illustrious gang (he he!) and Changes showing some "then and now" shots as we gradually restore various areas. I was going to add a "Teabreaks" page, but that's Vic's job!!
