Situated within a residential area on the western side of Winchester, the Sportsman’s is a small friendly club, occupying premises that were once St. Luke’s Church built in 1926. The bar, games and entertainment areas share one integrated space that helps to creates an intimate and friendly family atmosphere. Affiliated to the Club & Institute Union, the Club’s ladies are full and equal members and are well represented onthe Management Committee. The usual bar games are supported: Darts; Pool; Crib; Dominoes and Whist; and Bingo is played on Thursday and Sunday Evenings. Carling and Fosters lagers together with John Smiths and IPA bitters provide a wide choice of beers to members at competitive prices.
