Sweet Adelines International Contest October 2005

What a week we had in Detroit...

In October we competed for the first time in the Sweet Adelines International Convention and were over the moon (and truly shocked) to come 12th. We competed with 53 other quartets (all of whom had won their region – so in total there were approximately 700 quartets in the preliminary rounds).
It was a dream for us to come in the top 15 as it means we automatically re-qualify for next year. This means we'll be off to Las Vegas to do it all again. It's pretty exciting and we're currently trying to think of an outfit with tassels…
