Eu4ia is a European championship barbershop quartet based in the Midlands
and North West of England.
Nancy, Sandra, Jane & Kate have been singing together since January 2000 and in
this period of time have achieved a number of successes:
Eu4ia are delighted to have just won the region 31 SAI contest qualifying them to go onto International contest in Hawaii in November 2008.
Previously, Eu4ia have competed in the Sweet Adelines International contest in Las Vegas and competed in 2005 in the Sweet Adelines International contest in Detroit and came an amazing 12th place - this is the highest ever yet placing for a female or male british quartet. This was made possible having won the Sweet Adelines region 31 (UK and Ireland)
competition in Plymouth in May 2005.
Prior achievements include - SAI Region 31 Champions in May 2004 and 2005; LABBS silver medallists in October 2000; LABBS National Champions in 2001; European Champions (first British
quartet to achieve this) 2003; winners of the quartet section and runners up in
'light entertainment' at the Coleraine International Music Festival in 2004.
