Welcome to my Gap Year Website! Next summer, I will be going to Guyana for 12 months to teach maths and science in a local secondary school. Before I go I have to raise £3550 to cover my costs. Latest News - 25/02/02
Yesterday, on Sunday 24th February, me and Michael Cadd completed our sponsored tandem bike ride from St Albans to Cambridge. The weather was not great but the bike stayed together and we completed the 45 miles in 3.5 hours. "Never again!"

Last week, my first fundraising event occured. On Saturday, the four volunteers from St Albans School opened up the school carpark for use by the general public. Without setting a price, but just asking for voluntary donations, the four of us raised over £200 - not bad for a day's work!
