It is strongly recommended that the Hirer takes out all reasonable insurances to cover illness, accident and travel, it is expected that travel insurance will be in place to indemnify the owner of any 3rd parties. The owner will be responsible for insuring the building and its contents.

Cleaning

Prior to the hire period the owner will clean most parts of the accommodation including linen and towels to a reasonable quality level. During the hire, the Hirer shall be responsible for maintaining good order and levels of cleanliness. Failure to do this may result in a loss of reduction of the deposits at the end of the hire.

Gas, Water and Electricity

The owner is responsible for payment of all utility company bills. Also, there is no mains gas supply, therefore all cooking is by bottled gas, the Hirer will be responsible for replacing bottle gas. There is a limit on the amount of electricity used at anyone time; since the hearing is provided by electricity, at times of cold weather the maximum maybe exceeded. Careful balance of the heaters may therefore be needed.
