Mitchell
Whitelaw talked about:
Dynamic Artefacts: Interaction and A-life
Art
When
artists draw on the scientific practice of artificial life,
they construct works which are unlike conventional artefacts
in many ways. Their works entail interaction in multiple
domains: between audience and artwork, between artist and
generative system, and within the a-life system, between
formal elements or software agents. This presentation will
introduce the practice of a-life art and propose some links
with the interactive mind paradigm.
