But now we have another job;

We have at long last left the Mob.

Civilian life is not a bore,

We still enjoy our runs ashore.

We always try to do our best,

To help our brethren in distress.

We do it with a willing heart;

Loyalty and friendship must never part.

From Admiral down to lowest rates,

We're proud to be known as Herts Shipmates.
